Alpine F1 upgrades 2026

Complete new bodywork The bodywork has been designed to accommodate the new ’26 power unit and ensure its cooling.

It has also been designed with the objective of delivering high quality flow towards the rear end in all operating conditions.

Complete new front wing design in accordance with the 2026 regulations The front wing has been completely redesigned to tackle the challenge of the new regulations.

Its objective remains to produce load in Corner Mode, but also ensure drag is reduced at higher speeds, on the straights when in Straight Mode.

Complete new rear wing design in accordance with the 2026 regulations With no beam wing in 2026, and new regulations allowing the rear wing to be in Straight Mode in most of the straight lines, the rear wing was completely redesigned to ensure load is generated without any local flow field instabilities.

Front deflector redesigned The front deflector has been redesigned to improve the management of the local flowfield, ensuring a consistent delivery of performance throughout the entire operating range.

Re-designed of the lower part of the Rear Wing Endplate The end plate has been redesigned to improve the flow conditioning at the rear of the car while also generating local load.

SM pod fairing and reprofiled elements Local adjustments have been made to the rear wing to extract more performance out of it, both in Cornering and in Straight mode.

Suspension legs reprofiled The suspension legs have been refined to better control the flowfield around the rear suspension and improve global flow quality.

Addition of an element The new developed geometry is aimed at increasing aerodynamic load locally and efficiently throughout the operating range of the car.

Revised front drum exit The front drum exit duct has been redesigned to improve the flow quality around the front corner and further downstream.

Reprofiled endplate The rear wing endplate was redesigned to integrate effectively with the rear wing changes, improving aerodynamic interaction and overall performance.

Adjustments to the camera mounts The nose camera mount has been reprofiled with the objective of improving local flow management and delivering higher quality flow downstream.

Compete new rear wing assembly

As part of our in-season development, a complete new rear wing is introduced in Miami to improve overall aerodynamic performance.

As part of our front wing development program, the vane has been redesigned to increase the local load and improve local flowfield.

Addition of an element to the forward floor board The forward floor board has been optimised to improve the local pressure distribution and flow management, generating efficient local downforce.

Revised front drum exit The front drum exit has been trimmed to increase brake cooling capacity, improving thermal management for the upcoming high-demand tracks.
