About Pit Trace

Pit Trace is a free site that lists every upgrade F1 teams declare to the FIA, race by race, with each row linked to the source document.

From FIA documents. Organized by weekend.

Pit Trace turns each race weekend's FIA documents into one readable board. See which new parts every team brought and why, how many engine elements each driver has left before a PU grid penalty, who took parc fermé swaps, and which start penalties the stewards handed out. Every row cites its FIA document. Unofficial and independent, built for people who read the paperwork.

Sources

FIA PDFs are the source of truth for confirmed rows: car-presentation upgrades, power-unit element counts, parc fermé changes, and steward decisions. Every confirmed row links to the FIA document it came from.

News is a muted reported overlay only. Reported items stay labeled, and they are not added to the confirmed upgrade count. When a story overlaps an FIA row, the FIA line stays as written.

When rows are added

Rows are added automatically after the FIA publishes each document, and every row links back to it. If the FIA recalls a document, its rows are removed.

What Pit Trace is not

Pit Trace is not live timing, standings, points, race pace, pit stops, or telemetry. It is not an official F1 product.

Results are context. They do not show whether any listed part worked.

Pit Trace is an independent, unofficial project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Formula 1, the Formula One group of companies, the FIA, or any team. F1, FORMULA 1, and related marks are trademarks of Formula One Licensing B.V. Team names are used only to identify teams. Data comes from public FIA documents; each row links to its source.

Unofficial. Not affiliated with Formula 1.

Who runs it

Hey, I'm Jorge. I'm a big F1 fan and I got tired of digging through FIA PDFs to figure out what teams were actually doing. So I built Pit Trace. Every race weekend, the documents that matter, all in one place, and every row links back to its source. It's a tool, not a tipster, so see what changed and make your own call. I run it through Ajora Studios, my studio here in Edmonton.
